BOARD OF ALDERMEN MEETING SUMMARY
The Carrboro Board of Aldermen met on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Following is a brief summary of noteworthy actions. It does not include all actions taken at the meeting and should not be viewed as official minutes. The Board of Aldermen adopted a resolution in support of raising the age of juvenile jurisdiction in North Carolina (House Bill 280) and a resolution opposing a proposal before the UNC Board of Governors to prohibit Centers and Institutes from participating in litigation.
Public Hearings Scheduled
The Board of Aldermen scheduled public hearings on the extension of the Town’s Extraterritorial boundary along the north side of NC Highway 54 West and on Land Use Ordinance amendments relating to the Watershed Manufacturing District (WM-3) for June 13, 2017 at 7:30 pm.
Work Session Held on Lloyd Property Development Options
The Board of Aldermen held a work session on the Lloyd Property Development Options. No votes were taken from the work session.
