Orange County Solid Waste Management offers residents six drop-off locations for food scraps and non-recyclable paper:

- All food scraps including meat, bones, shellfish, and dairy products.
- All non-recyclable paper products including paper plates, paper cups, napkins, coffee filters, and tea bags.
- Waxed carboard/paper
- Certified "compostable" servingware and bags

- Glass
- Metal
- Plastic
- Aluminum foil
- Styrofoam
- Plastic bags
- Rubber bands or twist ties
- Produce baskets/netting
- Produce stickers
